It is a youth movement to make the democratic demands of young people visible and to find solutions to the common issues of young people.
Who are we?
What are the Faces of Youth?
Faces of Youth is a youth movement founded in 2022 with the aim of identifying the priority problems of young people between the ages of 18-30 in order to be heard by society and decision-makers and to find common sense solutions.
It aims to ensure the democratic participation of young people, create youth policies and find solutions to the problems of young people.
1. Period
2023 General Elections and Policy Recommendations
In the first period, in cooperation with NDI Türkiye, Youth Forums and Political Forums were organized in Adana-Mersin, Ankara, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Eskişehir, İstanbul, İzmir and Samsun in line with the 2023 general elections.
In line with these forums, policy recommendations were developed and an advocacy campaign was carried out.

56 Policy Recommendations to Decision Makers
With the Political Forums we organized, we brought young people together with national deputies and candidates for national deputies. In these forums, we conveyed our policy proposals to the decision-makers and candidates who have groups in the parliament.
2. Period
2024 Local Elections and Policy Recommendations
In the second period, in cooperation with NDI Türkiye, Youth Forums and Political Forums were organized in Eskişehir, Istanbul, Izmir and Samsun in line with the 2024 local elections.
In line with these forums, policy recommendations were developed and goodwill agreements were signed with candidates.

67 Mayoral Candidates Signed Goodwill Agreements
With the Youth Goodwill Contract for Mayoral Candidates, which we prepared based on our policy recommendations, 67 Mayoral Candidates signed the contract and pledged to be youth-friendly mayors.
3. Period
2024-2025 Period
Our aim this term is to strengthen the participation of young people in national and local governance and decision-making processes through our demands and policy proposals by improving the dialogue between young people and decision-makers at national and local level in the post-election period and to make the demands of young people in Turkey visible and strengthen youth participation through the National Youth Network we have created!
01. Youth Workshops in the Preparation Process of the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan
We supported 8 municipalities and municipalities in the preparation of their strategic plans by taking into account the principle of participation and sensitivity to the needs of young people.
02. Establishment of a National Youth Executive Committee
From our volunteers in 8 cities, we discussed our national policy recommendations and planned the next period of the program with the National Youth Executive Board, which we formed with 2-3 representatives from each city.
03. Visits to Political Party Headquarters
Following the meeting we held in Ankara with our National Youth Executive Board, we visited the headquarters of political parties with groups in the parliament and conveyed the policy proposals created by the youth to decision-makers.
04. Action Plan Workshops
Organized in 8 cities, these workshops aim to transform the policy recommendations and youth strategies we developed in the 2nd semester into concrete actions by blending them with the youth targets included in the strategic plans of municipalities.
